Date and time of gates opening to be confirmed. 

No early admittance to campers. Box Office is open nightly until midnight however there is no vehicle access after dark. Please arrive early!

Late Arrivals

If you arrive after dark, you’ll need to park your car in day parking near the front gate and either walk in to the festival site with your gear, or sleep in your car and drive in the next morning.

Water Access

Water is supplied in large tanks in 2nd and 3rd fields. Bring your own jug to fill up. Remember that supply is limited so please do not leave the tap running.

Quiet(er) Camping

This is a music festival, and you certainly didn’t come to catch up on beauty sleep! But if you prefer a mellower campsite, here are some options.

CAMP RECOVERY

This is an inclusive camping area for people living in recovery from addiction, which is located in the 1st field. We acknowledge that people may be in different phases of their recovery journey, and that journey is different for everyone. We are a family friendly camping area where open drug use and drinking are not allowed. Whether you are just starting on your path of recovery or you have been at it awhile, all are welcome.

FAMILY CAMPING

The Crooked Creek Camping Loop is designated as family camping. This means that campers in this area will be asked to be reasonably quiet once it’s dark out and should expect it to get noisy and overrun with children very early in the morning. 

RVs and campers 

Due to potential grounds damage, we offer limited access to camper units over 20' in length. To bring one in, you will need to purchase a separate Camper Unit Pass for $50. Limited passes are available. Purchase your pass HERE. This ticket must be used in conjunction with a weekend pass and the holder of the pass must be on the Ness Creek site by 9pm on Friday or else they forgo their reserved spot and will not be able to bring their over 20' camper unit on site.

Shuttle in

Plan to park your car for the weekend. Driving is not permitted in the camping fields, and there is limited day parking available in the first field. We encourage you to take advantage of our daytime shuttle service and nightly safe ride program.

Stay off the road

Keep all roadways and emergency exits clear at all times. These are tow away zones; watch for signs.

We believe that everyone has the right to enjoy the Ness Creek Music Festival without experiencing or being threatened with violence. Treating everyone with respect and dignity means everyone can have a great time and feel safe. We all have a role to play in addressing violence when we see or hear it, so please report any form of violence to a volunteer or security person. 

Violence causes harm to someone and can look like a lot of different things, such as: pushing, hitting, or inappropriately following someone unwanted sexual comments or touching yelling offensive slurs at someone about their identity pressuring someone to do something they don't want to do

That means actions that are racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, fatphobic, ableist, or discriminatory are NOT OK and will not be tolerated. Anyone acting, or threatening to act, with violence will be immediately removed from the festival grounds and refused re-entry. 

Remember - respectfulNESS and kindNESS are what make this music festival so wonderful, so spread the love and leave the hate at the gate. 

Practice Respectful-Ness

We ask you to do your part and help preserve the magic of our small festival by being mindful of those around you, and to interact respectfully with one another and the boreal forest we call home.

drink responsibly

Ness Creek is a public venue; therefore, liquor may only be consumed in your campsite or the licensed downtown area. Random bag searches may be conducted. The RCMP is on hand and will issue fines starting at $500.

Mind your butts

Cigarette butts are a fire hazard; please dispose of properly in an airtight container (such as a film canister). Ask our campground hosts for a butt-pack if you didn’t come prepared. Please be mindful of no smoking signage in certain areas.

Don’t

get too rowdy

Ness Creek has zero tolerance of violence - Anyone acting, or threatening to act with violence will be immediately removed from Ness.

Zero tolerance of fireworks

Fireworks are a severe wild fire hazard, and danger to other campers. Anyone found in possession of fireworks will be immediately removed from the festival. Rewards for tips and leads about fireworks.

Leave your furry friends at home

Sorry, there are no pets of any kind allowed at the festival.

No glass allowed

It is inevitable that glass will break and someone in bare feet will step on it. Leave it at home, and bring cans, tetra packs, and boxed beverages instead.

No Glow Sticks Allowed

We are all ambassadors of our environment and glow sticks create so much garbage!

be bear aware

Bears are a reality at Ness Creek, and it was their home before it was our festival site. Follow bear safety rules for your own safety, and for the health and safety of the bears. Bears that become too accustom to humans and learn to forage in the trash have to be destroyed, which is heartbreaking and we do NOT want this!

pack it in, pack it out

Help us minimize our environmental footprint, and preserve our boreal  forest home. If you brought it with you, take it when you go! This includes gum wrappers, rope, bottle caps, and cigarette butts.

Fires in provided fire pits only

Fires are only allowed in Ness Creek appointed fire pits for the safety of everyone at the festival. All fires must have 5 gallons of emergency water nearby. Forest fires are a real concern. Please be aware. Need a 5 gallon bucket? Come visit your Campground Host Station and we’ll make sure you can have a safe, cozy campfire.

be prepared for the elements

Ness Creek is a rain or shine event. Make sure your campsite is secure so you can enjoy!
